Have you ever suffered from debilitating anxiety? I did. On top of that my patience for people was virtually non-existant. I was tired…so frickin’ tired all the time. Ever felt that?
I felt like my mind was failing me.
My memory was the worst.
Most of my time was spent being unproductive.
I was just wasting away.
Not only did I not have the energy to accomplish what I needed to, I couldn’t even contemplate what it was I needed to do.
I used to belittle myself for being lazy and felt as if I was not only not doing enough, I WAS FAILING...AT LIFE!
I could not workout anymore let alone recover from a workout.
The more I worked out the weaker I got and recovery was taking up to 3 days.
I had the strangest sleep patterns and sleep was never refreshing.
I spent many days just overwhelmingly groggy.
These are just a few of my symptoms. Some have been just weird and random. It is so hard to find answers. I GET IT. It is called a adrenal fatigue or hypothyroid. Maybe both. Maybe more. Basically it is a HORMONE IMBALANCE and it is overwhelming.
YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY DON'T GET IT. You begin to think everyone else must think you’re crazy or a hypochondriac…or just depressed. You certainly don’t want to be one those people that complains all the time. Who wants to be around that person?
So, you suffer in silence.
Sometimes you push through.
Sometimes you just can't anymore.
Doctors don’t understand you that is for sure. They just want you to take this or that pill that may or may not even mask your symptoms. Maybe you are just sick of searching for an answer…some relief.
With a lot of perseverance and research, I realized that my best approach to health and wellness needed to be a very important holistic and natural one.
However, I was not making progress in all areas like I would have liked to have seen.
Where to begin in the healing process can be a struggle for sure. It took a lot of trial and error to realize what my overall health and wellness non-negotiables are.
